Often referred to as a local plus policy. Apply this policy when a long term international assignment ends and the employee does not return to their home country but switches to become a local employee in the host country. This can take place when:
o The assignment has reached a maximum 5 year period
o The assignment is extended to a period which in total exceeds the 5 year period
The international localization can either be a permanent transfer to the host location employment contract or it can be a fixed term contract in the host location. The employee will cease to be an international assignee in the host location and they will switch to local employment terms and conditions for the remainder of their time spent in the host location.
Bundle includes 3 documents. Policy, HR operational document and localization offer letter and addendum terms and conditions.
