RES FORUM RESEARCH

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Global Mobility
Dear RES Forum Members,
We would be delighted if you would participate in this survey and support our research for the next RES Forum Quarterly Research Report covering emerging technology, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Global Mobility. The report will be authored by Prof. Dr. Benjamin Bader, Professor of Strategic Management and Organisation at Newcastle University, Business School (Russell Group) www.ncl.ac.uk/business-school/about/
In this short survey, we would like to ask you about your experiences, expectations and concerns regarding RPA, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation within the context of Global Mobility. We seek to find out how, if at all, RPA, AI or Automation is currently being discussed / implemented within your organization to support your GM programme, and what future potential you believe that it has.The survey will take approximately 5 - 10 minutes to complete, and the results will be published in December 2018 via the RES Forum.

RES Forum Annual Report for 2019!

The report will be authored by Professor Michael Dickmann, Professor of International HRM at Cranfield University, School of Management, and we would like to ask for your help to complete our research survey.
We received feedback that there were too many surveys in 2018, so this year we have combined all of the core research surveys into one, meaning that you do not need to spend time completing the organisation data multiple times. This survey will take between 30 and 45 minutes to complete.
Here at the RES Forum, we like to think of our members as part of a community, where we all work together to share information to help us do our jobs better. To enable this to happen in the most effective way, we would like to ask everyone to play an active part in our community.
So this year, we are asking each RES Member company to nominate just ONE member from their organisation to complete this Annual Report Research Survey, and in return, EVERYONE in your organisation will be able to ask an unlimited number of benchmarking questions of other RES members this year using the RES Forum email question surveys. Organisations who do NOT complete this survey by the closing date of Friday 16 November 2018 will only be able to send out 3 questions during 2019 to other RES members.
We hope you’ll agree that this is the best way for us as all as a community to get the best quality annual report that we can all use to analyse, inform and benchmark our own GM programmes and to educate ourselves for personal, continued professional development.

Additionally, everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a 250GBP (approx 280EUR/ 330USD) Amazon shopping voucher.
To take part, either click on the link that you have recently received from us directly from survey monkey or click here
Thank you in advance for your participation!

EVENTS

RES CONNECT BIAM - NOW OPEN TO ALL MEMBERS

We are delighted to be hosting the next in our series of BIAM (Banking, Insurance and Asset Management) meetings which is taking the form of a lunch and afternoon event at Vinoteca City, London on Thursday 1st November. The main event sponsor is SilverDoor RES Forum Technical Partner for Temporary Accommodation and we would love you to be involved on the day.

Following feedback from a number of members who have told us that the issues and topics we have for discussion (whilst not their specific sector) are of great relevance to them. We are therefore opening the event up to ALL RES Forum members with an interest and desire to attend.

The sessions will focus on the current disrupters in global mobility, including the latest regulation, the impact of Brexit, and the challenges created by increased automation.

We’ll be tackling these topics through a mixture of interactive workshops, attendee programme overviews, and (of course) a spot of wine tasting!

This event is now open to all RES Forum members and in-house global mobility/International HR professionals and will be capped at around 22 people to facilitate discussions more easily.

We have chosen what we believe is a really special venue and with the activities planned for the end, are hoping it will prove to be a unique and wonderful experience for all attendees.

Event Schedule:

Thursday 1st November, 13.00 -17.00 at Vinoteca City

21 Bloomberg Arcade, London, EC4N 8AR

KEY ASSIGNMENT DOCUMENTATION

At The RES Forum, we provide off-the-shelf global key assignment documentation, template assignment and relocation contracts. These documents are fully compliant, consistent and cover compensation, relocation and assignment benefits, tax and social security. Use of these documents will lower assignment management costs and significantly reduce risk and liability issues for organisations.
Poorly structured assignment agreements can be hugely expensive for organisations. Often, they can result in unexpected taxation liabilities in both countries for both employer and employee. Without standard policies, every assignment is effectively treated as an exception. Neither the employer nor employee is satisfied with the result.
The RES Forum are supporting Mobility Professionals by providing a high quality, comprehensive and fully compliant global key assignment documentation repository. These ready-to-use documents allow companies to move and assign employees quickly and efficiently and de-risk the process.
